Overall, this person is only making baseless speculations because his own work got rejected. Why bother with marine engineering? He should just become a detective and focus on solving cases and using his reasoning skills. Instead of blaming domestic journals or achieving success in a short period of time, he should reflect on his own reasons for rejection. It's not good to spread misinformation like this. It seems very low.
1. The impact factor is artificially inflated, with only about 30 articles published each year, but with a high number of self-citations. The editor themselves are responsible for raising the impact factor.
2. It has very low international recognition, as no influential figures submit their articles here. Both domestic and international high-quality research sources are not present in this journal. Instead, it mainly contains papers from countries like Egypt, India, and the Middle East. Therefore, it is suggested that if you have a good article, submit it to OE or AOR.
3. It is best to have a recommendation from the editor or an internal channel for acceptance. Otherwise, it is difficult to get published. Upon careful examination of this journal, it can be seen that many articles are accepted on the same day of submission. Those who understand the situation will know what this implies.
4. The reviewers are not diligent or responsible, as they often dismiss articles with just a few sentences, without providing any helpful feedback for improving the quality of the articles.
5. Personally, I feel that this journal is potentially risky for the future. While it may have a temporarily high impact factor, it is unlikely to be successful in the long run. To truly elevate the journal, the editor needs to sincerely manage it, improve the quality of research sources and reviewers.
