13 days after submission, the first review feedback required major revisions and requested additional experiments. However, only 7 days were given for the revisions. An extension was requested to the editor for 14 days, and the revised version was uploaded 1 day later. After the second review, the reviewer highly appreciated the additional content, and the paper was accepted 4 days later.

Overall, the journal has a relatively high level of articles, and some of them are quite innovative. However, there are few submissions from Chinese researchers.
