The first attempt to submit an article to BEAS went smoother than expected. It was submitted on February 12th and received a minor revision decision on March 7th. The revised version was submitted on March 27th and accepted on April 8th. The whole process took less than two months. The editors and reviewers were very kind, and their suggestions were constructive without being overly harsh or difficult. Overall, it was a pleasant submission experience. BEAS is also a well-known journal in the field of animal science and behavior. I will definitely consider submitting to them again in the future.
