Description
The fundamental aim of this grants program is to understand the biology underlying the psychiatric disease anorexia nervosa, with the goal of accelerating progress toward prevention and treatment. We fund grants to academic researchers for 1-3 year projects to research the biology of this disease, and the questions of how and why it develops and persists. We encourage approaches that incorporate neurobiology with an up-to-date understanding of the symptoms and dysfunction associated with anorexia nervosa. Eligibility Applicants must hold a faculty appointment at a nonprofit academic, medical or research institution in the United States, Canada, or Israel.
