The editor was very nice and even reminded the author again after the minor revision to inquire if there were any remaining issues. The paper was accepted after adding the concept of symmetry. The entire process, from submission to acceptance, took 38 days. If the paper is modified according to the reviewers' comments, it is generally accepted.

2021.1.27: First submission, went through major revisions, revisions, and editorial decision to reject but encourage resubmission. Three reviewers, two of whom approved, but one had some reservations. The editor's final decision also indicated their bias towards the reviewers.
Next is to organize the sad feelings and make the decision to continue revising and resubmitting...

2021.4.12: Revised manuscript returned
2021.4.12: Accepted, very happy
MDPI is likely to not send the revised manuscript back to the reviewers after minor revisions. Receiving minor revisions should be taken seriously, and acceptance is mostly direct.
