Journal of Advanced Research

This journal is still very good, with the impact factor still increasing. It is expected to be at least 13+ next year. The requirements are strict, and the review process is detailed.

After submission, it requires patience to wait. It is normal for the pending technical assessment and with the editor to take about a month. Both times I submitted, it took about 3 weeks. The first time I had no experience, so I had to make formatting changes.

The speed of the review process is okay, usually taking 1-2 months. After the revisions are made and accepted, the online publication is very fast, usually within 2 weeks.

Overall, it takes about 2-3 months. This speed is normal for a regular journal. If you want it faster, I don't recommend submitting.

Additionally, there is a bug where the journal does not provide the volume and page numbers in advance for online papers, which makes referencing inconvenient...

Overall, if you are not in a hurry for paper acceptance, you can choose this journal. After the top 10, the review requirements are stricter. We also hope that the journal will continue to improve and enter the top tier of the Chinese Academy of Sciences soon.
