The overall process was quite fast, and the editing was well done.

However, the experts mentioned the need for additional experiments and applied for a one-month extension. The editor was also very communicative but only granted a ten-day extension, which caused a tight schedule for revisions. The subsequent revisions mainly involved minor suggestions, and after the editor reviewed them, the manuscript was sent back to the experts. The entire process took two months.
