The possibilities for scientific entrepreneurs seemed to be almost endless. Almost any scientific entrepreneur with a business plan (however hazy) might expect a large sum of money for their start-up. Although the entrepreneurs had faith in their machines, compounds, and equations, money was the driving force behind them.
