To enhance classifier performance, this work uses the set of characteristics for identifying spammers on Twitter and introduces new features. We assessed the performance of four machine learning algorithms using WEKA and RapidMiner, including Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), K Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP).
The experiment's findings demonstrate that SVM, KNN, and MLP performed better on WEKA than they did on RapidMiner. Yet when it came to RF, RapidMiner outperformed RF on WEKA in terms of accuracy. With an accuracy of 95.42% and 95.44%, respectively, MLP and RF on WEKA and RapidMiner surpassed other classifiers based on the dataset's 32 characteristics. Researchers that want to create a machine-learning model to discover criminal activity on social networks would find these findings helpful.
