The research paper investigates the factors influencing a customer's attitude and continued intention to shop online. The study finds that electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) has the strongest influence on a customer's attitude, while chatbots and virtual try-on (VTO) technology also play a significant role. Interestingly, the perceived effectiveness of e-commerce institutional mechanisms (PEEIM) was not found to moderate the relationship between attitude and continued intention. In my personal opinion, the findings of this research paper are insightful for online retailers. By understanding the importance of e-WOM, chatbots, and VTO technology, online retailers can develop strategies to improve customer experience and satisfaction. For example, they can encourage customers to leave reviews, implement chatbot features to answer customer questions and provide support, and invest in VTO technology to allow customers to try on products before they buy virtually.
