Poster summary

Health and research literacy amongst patients and the public act as a barrier to research participation, especially in paediatric clinical trials. To tackle this issue it is so important to establish long-lasting community relationships with children, young people, and families to open up a dialogue about research. We achieved this by setting up a Science Club in a local youth centre as part of our wider outreach and education programme.
