Has the host received any updates on the manuscript?

XXDBB 2021-12-09

Posted on August 20th, received notice of major revision around October 20th, revised on November 10th, and as of December 8th, the status of the manuscript is "Decision in process." Hoping for a positive outcome!

The text "现在文章好像收的紧了" translates to "Now it seems like the articles are being collected tightly" in English.

Wow, I am also him. Very responsible and good at controlling speed. I have to say, it is really impressive that the manuscript flew into his hands.

李进 2021-11-25

Posted in early July, the paper was sent back for major revision during the National Day holiday, so the holiday was effectively canceled. The revised version was resubmitted on the day after the National Day holiday ended, around the 29th. It took about 20 days for minor revisions, and then it was sent back. It was accepted within three days. The speed was not consistent, but Editor-in-Chief He Jiajun was quite fast, and I am grateful that the manuscript luckily ended up in his hands. Overall, the experience was not bad.

Again, Figure 4 somehow appears and is not quite related to the text. The results in Figure 5 and 6 are not properly explained in terms of how they were obtained. I did not check the content after Figure 6. It is obvious that this is not a professional manuscript and is not ready for publication. (Due to the word limit, I will divide the review comments into two parts for everyone to see.)

lyw2048 2021-11-20

First, the language used is not professional and difficult to understand. Furthermore, the scientific content lacks proper presentation as the sources of certain data, such as Figure 1 and 2, are not mentioned. If these data were obtained from another paper, they should be cited. If they are fitted data, the method of fitting should be explained.
The derivation of the pressure gradient equation is simple, ideal, and does not offer any new insights.
The authors included a workflow in Figure 3, but failed to mention it in the accompanying text.

2021.08.28 submitted to journal
2021.08.30 with editor (2021.08.31 and 2021.09.01 received email notifications with assigned editor)
2021.09.15 under review (date changed to 2021.10.28 during this period)
2021.11.17 decision in process
2021.11.20 reject

The editor is Tuna Eren, and the reviewer's comments are quite speechless.

Hello, I submitted it on August 24th and it is still under external review. Isn't it taking a little too long?

星子总在闪 2021-09-15

Hello, I submitted it for review on August 16th and still haven't received any news. If either of the two reviewers responds, the status will change, right?

VladimirL42 2021-09-13

2021.5.18 Submission
5.19 With Editor
5.27 Under Review
6.21 Major Revision
7.11 Revision Completed
8.16 Minor Revision
9.12 Accept

Both reviewers were very diligent, suggesting over 30 major revisions combined, while the other one provided 7 suggestions throughout the process, all of which were not substantial.

My article has been under review for over three months now. The status of the "under review" date has changed three times. I'm getting anxious waiting for it~

skuide 2021-09-10

The number of articles has now decreased, and the review time is unstable. I had my second review for 4 months, and Professor Pan is very kind.

Being rejected by JNGSE doesn't necessarily mean that the quality of your paper is good (every journal has both low-quality and high-quality papers). It only represents your luck (getting a higher IF in FUEL) or bad luck (being rejected by JNGSE).

SCI2 2021-09-01

Teacher Pan is indeed very efficient. Thank you, Teacher Pan.

wuy 2021-06-29

Submitted in February, the external review came back by the end of March, and it wasn't until the end of June that the rejection email was sent. The opinions of the two reviewers were very positive, but the editor took three months to reject it, causing unnecessary delay for such a long time.

I submitted it on Thursday evening, and received a reply on Sunday. It was rejected, stating that the writing level did not meet the requirements for publication. My heart was broken.

123698745ll 2021-01-14

Good luck! I hope my manuscript can give you a chance to revise it.

123698745ll 2021-01-14

You can send an email to inquire.

My initial review took 20 days, under review for about 70 days, and recently required reviews completed.
