ACS journals usually assign associate editors within 1-2 days, and I have seen similar feedback from other users. After minor revisions, the manuscript will be sent for review again, and there will be formatting modifications before acceptance, which may cause some delays in terms of timeliness. Overall, the process of resubmission and acceptance for my submission this time was quite efficient, considering that I have seen many articles go through three or even more than four months before being accepted. I really like the cute little leaf logo of this journal and hope that its influence can continue to increase, becoming a prestigious green chemistry journal under ACS.
