The first review took a total of 15 days, from "All Reviewers Assigned" to giving review comments. There were 3 reviewers, and major revisions were required, including the addition of animal experiments.
The second review took 25 days, and an additional reviewer requested supplementary experiments.
The third revision took 13 days.
The fourth revision took 8 days, mainly focusing on formatting changes and submitting raw data. Finally, it was accepted.
It took a whole 9 months from submission to acceptance, and the review comments were extremely challenging.

The overall submission process is more comfortable compared to other journals, so it should be considered a good journal.

Advantages:
Fast handling of manuscripts;
Specific reasons for rejection are provided even if the manuscript is sent for review (other journals use template rejection letters);
The review information and response letter are publicly available when the article is published;
Open Access (OA).

Disadvantages:
The publication fee is too expensive;
The annual publication volume has increased several times (which may also be a good thing as it increases the acceptance probability).
