Two journals that I previously submitted to rejected my papers - one because it did not align with their scope, and the other after major revisions. So, I decided to submit to this journal instead.

I was initially concerned about the long review period for this journal in our field. However, to my surprise, I received a response in less than two months. The reviewers' comments were constructive and not overly critical.

Here is the timeline of the submission process:
- October 8, 2021: Submitted to the journal.
- October 15, 2021: Under review.
- November 28, 2021: Major revision requested, given one month for revisions. One reviewer requested major revisions, while the other requested minor revisions.
- December 26, 2021: Submitted the revised paper to the journal.
- January 9, 2022: Paper accepted.

Overall, the process was quite fast. It's worth mentioning that another paper from my colleagues has been under review at a different journal for seven months without any updates. So, I consider myself lucky.

Too slow. I submitted it in January 2021, and they didn't accept it until November. I had to urge them countless times in between. I can't stand this bunch of people. I urged them numerous times. It's just damn frustrating to deal with this fourth-grade level paper.

There were three reviewers, one agreed to publish, one requested minor revisions, and one requested major revisions. The editor gave me the major revision request. Reviewer 3 seems to be a junior colleague who understands the work I did and had difficulty answering some questions. I carefully revised and improved the language for a total of 22 days, recovering more than 20 pages. In the end, it was accepted. I am grateful to Reviewer 3, although they were not particularly satisfied with my work, their questions indeed taught me a lot!
