I submitted it quite quickly. The approximate timeline is one day with the editor and three days under review. However, there was a change in the under review date, and I haven't received the results yet. It is possible that recent submissions have been overwhelming, and the editor is busy. My supervisor is an editor of a journal, and he mentioned that during busy times, they usually review submission emails once a week. It should be faster, so let's wait a little longer.

This journal has a high requirement for plagiarism check in the early stage, and it feels like it should be controlled below 15% at least. Thanks to Prof. Jennifer Strunk for her serious and responsible editing. Although there were some obstacles, the specific questions raised by the reviewers were of high quality and provided great help in improving the article. It took approximately 3 months from submission to acceptance.

This journal is too strict, really troublesome, and during the process, I was constantly worried and scared.
Submission on September 14, 2022.
Four reviewers on November 8, 2022, received major revisions after the first review.
Revisions submitted on November 28, 2022 (the response letter was written in single spacing and was 31 pages long...).
Three reviewers suggested acceptance on December 13, 2022, while the fourth reviewer suggested further simplification and major revisions to the framework and logic and requested proofreading by a professional company.
Revisions submitted on January 3, 2023 (the response letter was another 28 pages long...).
Accepted on January 16, 2023 (I really can't believe it, when I previously submitted to Carbon, it was never this troublesome with only two reviewers).
