The review speed of the journal is relatively fast, and the assistant editor responds to emails actively.

oldFES 2021-07-06

Submitted on June 25th.
Returned with revisions from two reviewers on July 5th, one providing constructive feedback and the other being critical. 10 days to make revisions.

Where did you see it?

Kev 2021-06-30

Excuse me, is this already Q2? I just checked.

This journal seems to be relatively stable with not too much risk, although the self-citation rate exceeds 20%. However, the editorial department has started to be cautious and improve on this issue, and now it is not easy to publish just by flooding articles. Therefore, some medium-quality, lengthy systematic works are very suitable to be submitted to Sensors. Generally, a first review response will be given within 20 days (I gave mine in 12 days). Each round of revisions will receive a response within approximately 5 days. If the editor approves, the acceptance probability is very high. In addition, the people in MDPI's journals are really low-minded. If everyone had a big team or famous advisor, there wouldn't be so many journals in the world. If your work is outstanding, you can naturally submit to Nature sub-journals and IEEE transactions, but please allow others to publish their own achievements. Even though the journal quality and paper quality may not be as high as yours, scientific research requires respect, not pleasing each other.

I completely agree with your point of view. What is the difference between those who look down on us open-source journal publishers and Emperor Jin Huidi, who refused to eat meat paste? Many of us do not have good platforms or expert guidance. We have worked hard to write our articles and finally found a platform that accepts them, but we still have to endure the mockery of those people. I have read articles published in so-called closed-source journals, and not all of them are of good quality. Either the mentor is influential, or the school platform is good. What are these people without their mentors and those good platforms?

Hello, I would like to inquire about the filling of the author-statement section. In the template, there are two empty squares, what do they correspond to?

huangdaxian 2021-06-20

Excuse me, have you been approved yet? It has been almost 10 days for me, and I'm still in this state.

First submission to a SCI journal, every step was nerve-wracking. I communicated with the editor carefully and answered each question from the reviewers diligently. Overall, I felt that the reviewers were professional and responsible, paying close attention to even the smallest details in the article. The editor was also very serious and responsible, always available to provide answers when needed. It can be considered a smooth acceptance, giving myself some confidence in this path of scientific research.

Hello, may I ask if this journal requires advance payment?

Excuse me, does this magazine accept pharmaceutical content that is not related to remote sensing or instrument testing?

Hello, may I ask if this journal requires payment?

After my rejection, I resubmitted and received only one small comment. I sent back the revised version yesterday. How long does it usually take for the status to update for the revised version review?

This year's sixth issue has not been entered into SCI.

My article was published on April 1st on the seneors website, but until now it is still unable to be retrieved by EI. It is also unable to be retrieved in all journals on Web of Science. Is this normal?

少年2019 2021-04-14

Because this journal is indexed in SCIE, not SCI, the so-called core collection mainly refers to previous SCI journals. However, this does not affect anything because the core collection has never been updated!

KevinSong 2021-04-07

The articles of Sensors can be found in the Web of Science Core Collection. After being accepted by Sensors, the articles can be published online within 1-2 days, and at this time, they can be searched in all databases of Web of Science. The articles can be found in the Web of Science Core Collection once they are truly indexed by SCI. The time from acceptance to indexing generally takes about one and a half to two months, sometimes longer. I'm not sure if this helps you.

flyawayup 2021-04-06

Hello, the journal name displayed for the published paper is "Sensors (Basel, Switzerland)" instead of just "Sensors". Furthermore, it cannot be found in the Web of Science Core Collection, only in all the databases of Web of Science. Have you ever encountered such a situation?

flyawayup 2021-04-06

Published around March 25 on the Sensors website. May I ask experienced students why this paper, as well as my classmate's other paper from 2020, cannot be found in the Web of Science Core Collection? It can only be found in all databases of Web of Science. Additionally, the journal name is displayed as "Sensors (Basel, Switzerland)" instead of "SENSORS". However, papers with the journal name "SENSORS" can be found in the Web of Science Core Collection.

The review speed is very fast. After coming back for major revisions, one reviewer agreed, but the other one disagreed. The editor-in-chief rejected it.

liuSTU 2021-03-28

Soon, around three to four weeks.

How long does it take for Sensors journal to be indexed by SCI? Will all the articles be indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection?

果园管理机器人呢 2021-03-18

Half a month was given for the major revision suggestions, which were quite professional. After half a month, the revised suggestions were submitted, and three days after the second minor revision, I was hired!

The journal covers a wide range.

owen 2021-02-25

January 2nd - Submission
February 7th - Significant revisions requested
February 16th - Revised draft returned

wuyun123 2021-02-15

Hello, the academic editor review took an additional two weeks. What is the status now?

wuyun123 2021-02-14

"Pending editor decision" has been 10 days already? Did the editor add another round of review? Others were accepted directly."
