During my doctoral studies, I published two papers in STOTEN and would like to share my submission experience with everyone:

First paper:
September 12, 2019: Submitted
November 20: Major revisions
November 30: Minor revisions
December 5: Accepted
December 9: Available online

The second paper had a relatively fast review process. All three reviewers suggested minor revisions, and it was accepted within a month. It was the fastest acceptance I have experienced:
February 4, 2020: Submitted
February 26: Minor revisions (three reviewers)
March 2: Revisions made
March 2: Accepted
March 5: Available online

For the third paper, it was submitted to STOTEN on May 26, 2020. Two days later, it was rejected with a suggestion to make modifications and resubmit. I promptly chose to submit it to Environmental Research (ER) and it was accepted in early September.
