On March 24th: The ecological indicators that I submitted were okay. I remember submitting on June 16th, receiving a response on the 20th, and a minor revision and rejection on July 12th. I heard that now, for ecological indicators, if one reviewer rejects it, it will be directly rejected. I don't know if this is true or not. My junior's ecological indicators went through 10 months of external review and were rejected. We have urged several times, but couldn't find a second reviewer. However, overall, it is still fast. After the pure OA process, it should be handled by professional editors, and the efficiency of the journal is not bad. It all depends on the reviewers. It's quite lucky to encounter good reviewers.
