I don't know why the number of submissions to this journal suddenly increased in the past two years. Personally, I think this journal has a very low cost-effectiveness. Most submissions have to wait for about a month before they are considered for review or rejection. The rejection reasons are usually lack of novelty. Although there are only a limited number of articles published each year, the number of submissions is still around six or seven thousand, so you can just do as you please. Anyway, they don't lack articles, but there's nothing much to say about it.

Let's talk about the review process. Based on my personal experience, the reviewers for this journal are really hard to comment on (the quality of reviewers for average journals is also questionable). For example, my article is about supervised learning, and one of the reviewers actually commented that this article proposed a semi-supervised method. I doubt if they even read my article or if they just randomly provided comments. Perhaps they were not focused on reviewing during the Lunar New Year, as most of the comments were diplomatic. If they had just said that the article lacked novelty and rejected it directly, I wouldn't be upset! There are many journals at the same level to choose from, so I recommend being cautious if you are in a hurry!
