Did you manage to keep the printed pages of your submission within 30 pages? The technical review requires it to be within 30 pages, but I have seen a proof copy with research content exceeding 50 pages.

This is my first submission to this magazine. I submitted it in July 2020 and went through two minor revisions. In June 2021, it showed "accept".

There were two reviewers, both very professional. One of them provided a lot of feedback, some of which was quite challenging to address, so it took two rounds of revisions. The other reviewer's feedback was relatively easy to handle, and they agreed after the first round of modifications.

The feedback from the reviewers was a great learning opportunity, and it was very user-friendly that this magazine does not require formatting or template adjustments for submissions.

The entire process from submission to acceptance is as described above. The journal is undoubtedly a top-tier publication in the field of reliability, system safety, and industrial risk analysis. The review process is very rigorous, with the journal usually seeking four to five reviewers (in my case, five reviewers), each providing around 5-10 comments. The comments on my manuscript were moderate, with four minor revisions and one major revision, which the editor requested. Fortunately, after submitting the major revision, the editor accepted it without requesting any further minor revisions (it seems that two rounds of revisions are common for this journal). The whole process took approximately six months or more.

The review process currently takes at least half a year or more. This is because there are many reviewers, probably four or five of them, and each one has a lot of opinions, making the process quite strict. Additionally, many submissions require two rounds of revisions, so it won't be accepted quickly from submission. However, if you feel that your article is sufficiently rich in content, you can give it a try. After all, it is a top journal, hhh.

Also, I don't understand what exactly a minor revision is and whether the chances of acceptance are high after making significant revisions.

The first review process took a bit longer, and two reviewers provided comments. This was my first submission to SCI, and the problem description in the introduction was not clear enough, resulting in rejection. It is advisable to carefully write the problem description and clearly state my contributions.
