This year, two papers were accepted, and the first review for both papers was returned in about 20 days. The journal had a very efficient review process.

The first paper was accepted in 33 days by the associate editor from Tsinghua University (THU). After revisions, it was accepted without further review.

The second paper was accepted in 53 days by the associate editor from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). After revisions, it was sent for a second review, which also took around 20 days, but no further feedback was given.

First review took over 20 days, revisions took 18 days, second review took 3 days, minor revisions took 2 days, and then it took 2 more days for acceptance. In total, it took over 40 days. I still have a strong attachment to PoF. Since the first article was accepted in this journal in 2018, I have submitted many articles here. However, this self-citation is truly touching, but also carries great risks.
