On May 5th, formal acceptance was received. The entire submission process, apart from the slow review (possibly due to a narrow research field and fewer reviewers), was handled and responded to quickly by the editors. Overall, the submission experience was good.

The article was submitted on October 18th last year and stayed with the editor for a long time. It was not until the beginning of this year (February 24th) that the first round of review comments was received, which suggested a moderate revision. There were about 20 comments in total, and a two-week deadline was given for the revisions.

The revisions were completed on March 9th, but due to the addition of a new author during the process, an application form to add the author had to be submitted. Unfortunately, this was delayed for almost a month because the laboratory's submission mailbox was not checked. The form was finally submitted in early April.

On April 28th, a notice was received to fill out a copyright transfer form, and on May 4th, the article was provisionally accepted.

Despite the ups and downs during the submission process, the overall result was good. Generally speaking, the journal is decent, but the review efficiency is somewhat low.
