Still asking if it's true or not? Go and read the articles from March yourself. Is there one that was accepted in 20 days? If you can't use your brain, don't do this job anymore.

LDD is the quality of the second district, just maintain it. Mentioning the first district is already overestimated.

The impact factor of the journal is starting to decline again. I feel like it won't be able to maintain its position in the top tier this year. In the future, I should pay attention to the immediate impact factor when submitting manuscripts. It's really frustrating to have finally had my manuscript accepted, only to have it dropped to a lower tier.

mmw 2022-02-23

My submission to review took 37 days.

lehang 2022-02-22

May I ask how long ago your condition changed?

Last night, I checked the latest impact factor and it was only 3.6. Currently, it has been surpassed by two 2nd-tier journals. It's confirmed that it will be categorized as a 2nd-tier journal by the Chinese Academy of Sciences next year. This has already become a settled matter, and I felt heartbroken all night last night. How did the editor-in-chief of LDD manage this? I am truly amazed. It has been surpassed by many journals, such as Plant and Soil and Soil Science Society of China (English edition).

Initial review took 2.5 months - major
Second review took 2.0 months - minor
Third review took 0.5 months - accepted
The editor's handling was very prompt, possibly due to the special issue, so the manuscript was reviewed rigorously.
Thank heavens, LLD is still a top journal in the field.

Just asking, when will the editors be assigned? Currently, there is only one EE (Editorial Editor) and one RE (Review Editor) not assigned. How long does the first review take?

IDRIS 2021-11-30

Most likely, there are differing opinions, so find another reviewer.

IDRIS 2021-11-30

Special issue submitted in a rush...
First review took 2 months, major revisions.
Second review took 2 months, minor revisions.
Third review took half a month, accepted.

The review process is exceptionally slow; it has been three months and it is still under review. It is very time-consuming and delays everything. I hope there will be good news soon and that my wait will not be in vain. However, those who wish to publish within a six-month timeframe should avoid this journal.

tttting 2021-11-12

May I ask what is your current situation? I have been waiting for about 20 days now and it is still under review. The date has not changed either. I'm not sure if it has been sent for external review.

How long did it take for the first trial to have results?

芳盖 2021-11-05

So fast? Buddy, was the recommended reviewer accepted?
What kind of article is it?

中国磕盐狗 2021-10-08

Previously, I saw netizens sharing that the processing cycle is relatively long, and the editors have been requesting revisions for a long time. However, this submission is also my first time submitting: the initial review comments were extensively revised for more than 20 days; after the revisions were made, it was directly accepted in half a month. The length of the cycle may still depend on factors such as editors and reviewers.

专业土壤人 2021-09-07

No need, the original editor is fine.

中国磕盐狗 2021-09-05

Do you need to reassign editors and reviewers for this journal after it has been revised?

中国磕盐狗 2021-09-05

Do I need to reassign editors and reviewers if I revise this journal? When I revise it, it shows that both editors are "not assigned"...

zhangj 2021-08-30

The first trial took four months, and I returned one month later. It has been two and a half months since the second trial, and it has been in the hands of the editor for ten days without any progress. The opinions of the three reviewers in the first trial were very detailed, and I made serious revisions. It greatly helped improve the article, and I hope to be successful.

Shzhang 2021-08-08

I would like to ask my fellow classmates who have submitted, what is the status after external review? Is it "reviewers completed"? Why does mine keep changing from "Under review" to "Under Review" and then back to "Under review" after about 10 days? What does this mean?

专业土壤人 2021-02-08

The article was submitted about ten days ago. After the editor reviewed the article, they asked for revisions and provided six questions to address. After making the changes, the article was resubmitted. It took over a month for the submission to be accepted, going through one major revision and two minor ones. The entire process took more than six months, which is considered relatively fast. Three reviewers and two editors provided a lot of suggestions for improvement, resulting in a significant improvement in the quality of the article. However, the process of making changes was quite agonizing.
