Posted on November 12th last year, under review on November 29th, it has been over 4 months now and still no result. There is another article that was submitted 2 months later, and it has already been revised twice. Maybe it is because this journal does not have the option to recommend reviewers, making it difficult to find people to review the article.

Submitted on March 8th, 2021, and now it's April 2nd. After my classmate submitted their clustering manuscript, they received four rounds of revisions within five months, so I also submitted mine.

Submitted on 3.8 - With editor on 3.9 - Under reviewer on 3.10, it was indeed fast. However, some classmates informed me that the "under reviewer" status is actually fake and the manuscript has not reached the hands of the reviewers. They said it's a common practice in Elsevier. Can you confirm if this is true?
