If it goes for review, the first decision will come relatively slowly, over a month, and even a reminder letter was written. The second review is usually faster after everyone has made revisions, with results generally available within 10 days. However, it took two weeks for my own revision to show any progress, and a reminder letter was also written for the second review.

Unfortunately, it was downgraded to a third-tier journal in the 2021 Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) classification. It is truly disheartening that such a good journal can be demoted to the third tier in the CAS classification. On the other hand, certain domestic journals employ various means to maintain their first-tier status.
