The first paper of my doctoral thesis was initially submitted to ACS AMI but was rejected. However, we received reviewer comments and made revisions according to the comments before resubmitting it to JPS. We were given major revisions and added two characterizations. It was subsequently accepted. Overall, it was a good process, and JPS has been catching up with AMI in terms of impact factor in recent years. Wishing JPS continued success!

JPS review process is really super fast. Two review comments, one is directly accepted and the other requires minor revisions. Overall, it went smoothly, but recently it has been criticized by many for being a bit mediocre, after all, there have been waves of new editors and the Chinese Academy of Sciences' upgraded version of the ranking has also dropped to the second tier... It is suggested that novice researchers can try their first paper here, because once the first paper is accepted, the following days won't be so difficult.
