First time submitting to AM, it was rejected without review. Then I submitted to ACS Nano. Submitted initial draft on January 30th, took a break during winter vacation. Received reviewer comments on February 16th, three minor revisions and one major revision (mainly regarding wording), returned in a little over two weeks. Submitted revised manuscript and reviewer comments on March 3rd. Received second round of comments on March 30th, one minor revision requested to add an experiment, other reviewers had no comments. Responded to reviewer comments on April 2nd, coinciding with the Qingming Festival holiday. Received an email from the editor-in-chief on April 6th, stating that the article is provisionally accepted pending formatting changes. Made the necessary changes and resubmitted. Officially accepted on April 7th. The associate editor is Prof. Il-Doo Kim. Thanks to the associate editor and the reviewers. It can be considered as the first article in my doctoral career, taking a little over two months from start to finish and learning a lot throughout the process.

Don't worry too much, your review comments are considered very good. Generally, the response to the second review takes about a month. Previously, in the laboratory, it was usually like this. Your review comments are generally accepted in the second review, so there shouldn't be any major problems. Relax.

The efficiency of ACS NANO in handling manuscripts is really high. Usually, when submitted on the same day, the status of the manuscript changes the next day. The same goes for formatting revisions. When submitted on the same day, it is returned on the same day. It is the fastest journal I have ever submitted to!!!
