After two major revisions, four reviewers, and over 30 comments, it was finally accepted. It was not an easy task, as journal requirements are becoming increasingly demanding, emphasizing innovation. Good luck to everyone.

If you can publish in Carbon, it means that your direction should be in new materials. Your decision to submit to Carbon is like our decision to submit to the Journal of Metal. Both are considered low-tier journals. You must have intended to publish your article easily by submitting to JMST, otherwise you wouldn't have been rejected and then turned to Carbon. It's already quite difficult for those who work with metals to publish in JMST. Those who work with new materials should not snatch up opportunities in these newly established journals. Please leave a way for those who work with metals. You should submit to journals with an impact factor greater than 10.

Carbon is even worse. If you invest in Carbon in this direction, it is like us investing in the Journal of Metal Science, a trash journal. It is already impressive to invest in JMST for metal. I dare say that if you are still investing in JMST in this direction, then it is definitely futile.

May I ask how much is the publication fee? It says on Little Mole that there is no fee.
