The overall feeling is too slow. It has been nearly 4 months and I still don't know the submission result. A friend previously mentioned that this journal is fast and would provide review comments within a little over a month. However, ah, it's too slow.

It is important to be cautious when recommending reviewers, otherwise, encountering consecutive rejections can significantly increase the review cycle.

Is the file type you selected in the first step a research paper? Did you select Manuscript as the item type in the second step? My second step interface looks different from yours.
