Have you ever encountered a situation where it says "Manuscript Submitted" for ten days after submission?

summera 2022-06-21

Has the feedback come back?

Mr.zhang 2022-05-25

Posted on 2021-11-23, received reviewer comments on 2021-1-25, accepted on 2022-2-15. The process was fast, and during the time with the reviewers, the status remained as "under consideration," with the editor explaining it was due to system issues.

wangruirui 2022-05-25

Excuse me, has your submission been under review? It has been a month since I submitted and it still shows "under review" with no changes. It is my first time submitting, and I am getting anxious.

向日葵611 2022-05-19

I want to ask, did the journal ask you to proofread it?

hdjehd 2022-05-18

2022.03.25 Submission
2022.04.03 Under Review
2022.04.17 Major revision. Four reviewers, one of whom accepts directly, while the other three raise some language issues and suggest adding some references to the formula theory.

I have also been in this state all along. Have you updated, classmate?

2022-05-07

The text translates to: "For the past 10 days, the status has been 'manuscript submitted.' How long will this status last? I'm getting anxious as graduation approaches."

Marcus 2022-04-29

May I ask how long the status "manuscript submitted" will last after 5 days of submission?

dyjyoo 2022-04-25

I also want to ask everyone, I submitted on 2021.12.01, and on 2022.3.25 it changed to "under review." However, until now there has been no change. I would like to know if there is a high probability of rejection in this situation. Also, I noticed that no one else has the "under review" status for this journal.

求指教q 2022-04-23

I have revised it twice and it is currently under review again. I am not skilled. After the third minor revision, it was accepted within two days.

多吃不长肉 2022-04-10

Has the original poster submitted it for review? Has the status changed?

多吃不长肉 2022-04-10

It has been 10 days since submission and the status is still "with editor". Is this normal? If I need to follow up, which email should I use?

小千123 2022-04-01

Hello, may I ask if this journal charges page fees?

不爱学术的研究生 2022-03-31

Basically, initial review comments will be given after about one month. If they are not given, you can contact the editorial department by email to inquire about the status. After inquiring, you will receive the result within a week. Overall, the process from journal review to acceptance takes about 3 months. Good luck with your graduation!

Does anyone know how long it takes for this journal to review submissions? I'm in a hurry to graduate, is it difficult to get accepted?

分享者-1973 2022-01-17

First submission to this journal. Submitted in November 2021, received a major revision notice and was informed that even with revisions, acceptance is not guaranteed. There were 5 reviewers, one of whom rejected the paper directly in two sentences, stating that it lacks innovation and depth. One reviewer thought it was suitable for resubmission, one reviewer mostly agreed, and two reviewers raised a series of questions. After carefully revising and addressing the questions, a response was received two weeks later in January 2022. Two reviewers approved the paper, while the third reviewer requested minor revisions. The rejecting reviewer remained unchanged, and the decision to resubmit was left to the editor's discretion, who is named Iyer. Editor Iyer took responsibility and provided detailed explanations, along with suggestions for minor revisions. Despite being minor revisions, the comments were carefully addressed, and the paper was accepted on the same day it was submitted after revisions. Apologies for the lengthy explanation.

I have been waiting for a month for repairs, but there has been no progress. Is this normal?

IF重要吗 2022-01-09

The first round of the review process takes about 40 days. The reviewers are very professional and the editors are very good. The journal has a characteristic that it remains in a consistent state, so there is no need to panic and wait patiently.

10.16 transfer to this publication
10.26 in the editor's hands
12.16 minor revisions
12.27 submission of revised draft
12.30 accepted for publication

fantast_yu 2021-12-28

It seems to be not very relevant.

Although it was under consideration throughout the process, the handling speed was quite fast. It takes about 3 months from submission to major revisions to acceptance, with 3 reviewers. However, it feels like the reviewers' relevance is not very strong.

Posted on September 12th, under consideration throughout. In mid-October, an email was sent to inquire about the status of the editorial department. A week later, reviewer comments were provided. On October 25th, major revisions were made, with input from two reviewers and the addition of an experimental characterization. The revised manuscript was returned on November 9th. Another week passed, and on November 21st, minor revisions were requested, addressing two questions and correcting grammar and formatting errors. The revised version was returned on November 25th. Acceptance was received on December 6th. This journal was the first one I submitted to, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be accepted. Special thanks to Editor Brian Knapp, Ph.D. Wishing the journal continued success!

TBOOKMAN 2021-12-02

Review comments were given 50 days after submission (major revisions). There was a 30-day time frame and 4 reviewers. Some additional testing needs to be done, but after making the modifications, the article has improved significantly.

The response to the review comments was 17 pages long. After the response, minor revisions were given a week later. Acceptance was received 2 days after the second response, and it was quickly indexed from online to SCI, taking approximately 1 week.

Throughout the review process, the status remained "under consideration." It will change to "Under Consideration" when the editor makes a decision. As long as the review comments are carefully addressed, acceptance is quite easy.

2021.09.14 Submission (Waited for a month and then sent an email to inquire about the status)
2021.10.25 Minor revisions, 6 reviewers
2021.11.22 Revision returned
2021.11.26 Accepted

丰行 2021-11-07

The word "审稿" is written with a capital "U" and a lowercase "C," but the editorial department's decision is to capitalize both the "U" and the "C."

丰行 2021-11-07

2021-05-07 Submission
2021-06-28 Major revision; four reviewers, 24 comments, given one month for revisions;
2021-10-11 Reverted back due to the pandemic, unable to conduct many experiments, requested an extension;
2021-10-29 Minor revision; two reviewers, 5 comments, during which "Under consideration" changed to "Under Consideration", speculated that it was sent for external review, confirmed to be true;
2021-11-01 Reverted back;
2021-11-06 Accepted.
Throughout the process, it was "under consideration", but with different capitalization, suggesting that it was "Under consideration" during the peer review, and "Under Consideration" when the editorial department made a decision.

Hello, hello. I want to ask you a question. The reviewer's comment was "remove the keywords from the main document." Does it mean to delete the keywords? It's puzzling.

Submitted on July 30th.
Received review comments on September 23rd, with 16 comments from 3 reviewers, which were not difficult. A small experiment was added and one month was given to revise the paper.
Revised on October 10th.
Accepted on October 13th.
The whole process was under consideration.
Others work in a professional field of sinkholes, while my field is in one-dimensional infinite potential wells. I submitted this paper in a journal that specializes in sinkhole materials, as a small extension of my research topic. This could possibly be the first and last first-author SCI paper in my life. I would like to thank Dr. Mark Schubert, the editor.
