Reviewing took a month, and then it took another month for the decision after the revision. It's too draggy. Two minor revisions and one rejection. The editor rejected the manuscript directly without any personal opinions or suggestions regarding the article. They only stated that it did not meet the standards and cannot be published. I suspect they didn't even read the article properly and hastily made a decision based solely on the reviewers' comments. They didn't even provide any suggestion for resubmission.

I wrote an appeal letter, highlighting my innovation and mentioning that the reviewers' questions were too basic. However, it didn't make much difference. The editor replied, "There are many issues that cannot be resolved through simple modifications," but suggested resubmission. In early June, I resubmitted my work, and this time there were three positive reviews and one negative review. The positive reviewers praised my work, but the negative reviewer casually raised a few simple questions and recommended against publication. The editor rejected it again. I still feel reluctant in my heart. I am considering whether to revise and resubmit or submit to a different publication.
