Received extensive revisions from reviewers on July 24th. Four reviewers provided numerous and professional comments, giving a four-month deadline for response. One reviewer went through the formulas in my paper very professionally, providing a four-page review.
Responded to reviewer comments on October 21st. Was too lazy to make changes during the summer break, so procrastinated for three months...
Received minor revisions on November 5th. All four reviewers approved, and the editor requested a reduction in word count and to send the plagiarism report to the editor-in-chief's email (spent $100 on a designated plagiarism checking website...)
Submitted on November 7th
Accepted on November 8th.

August 2021 major revision, two experts were satisfied, but one expert still had questions and required additional experiments, took one month to make revisions;
September 2021 accepted, this time there was no need for self-funded plagiarism check like others, the editor-in-chief sent the plagiarism check results and requested reduction of similarity.
Overall, this journal has a pretty high quality, compared to before, the review speed has greatly improved, and it is still a very good journal.

There is no problem with AE rejecting the submission (AE is Qingguo Wang), but their comments are completely unrelated and inconsistent. One reviewer claimed that my work is about multi-agent event triggering, which has nothing to do with my article on sliding mode control for switching systems. Another reviewer even stated that they don't understand the most basic concepts in the field of switching systems (which are widely recognized), and criticized my method without any logical reasons. They clearly lack understanding and yet pretend to be knowledgeable, which makes me laugh at their rejection of my article. This journal is a joke, wasting my time.
