After more than twenty days, there is no reason to reject it. I recommend transferring to an open-access journal that is not even SCI. Speechless, everyone should be cautious about submitting to it, as it has serious inflated content. Overall, the editor (Ians) was very supportive, and it went smoothly without needing to conduct additional experiments. The initial submission had an impact factor of around 5.0, and upon acceptance, it increased to 6.9. Hopefully, the journal will continue to improve.
