The experience is to remind the editor when it is necessary and maintain polite communication with the AE. The journal receives a large number of submissions, so sometimes the AE may forget to process the manuscript and authors need to kindly remind them. Personally, I believe the reviewers of TIP are very responsible, and their comments clearly show that they have thoroughly read the manuscript. Some of the suggestions are very insightful for future work. Overall, except for the speed of the review process, everything else is quite good.
