I submitted three times. The first time, I made major revisions and resubmitted. The second time, it was rejected (one acceptance, one minor revision, one major revision) because one reviewer had a new subjective misinterpretation, which led to a negative conclusion from the deputy editor. After an appeal, I resubmitted. The third time, the deputy editor said without any basis that there was no quantitative comparison done. The reviewer for the minor revision did not ask for a quantitative comparison either, and there were no relevant quantitative indicators to refer to. The deputy editor cannot provide objective feedback on the reviewer's suggestions. Each time, the deputy editor always adds their own opinions to the review comments, so the attitude of the deputy editor of this journal is crucial. This is just my personal opinion, for reference only.
