I submitted my manuscript on August 11th and received the first review comments on time after one month. I was given one month to make revisions and submitted the revised manuscript on October 8th. It was accepted on October 25th, which is similar to the timeline of the original post. I added a lot of verification work and almost missed the deadline for submitting the revised manuscript. ECM's efficiency is beyond doubt, and I will choose ECM as my first choice for future submissions. However, I am unsure about how long it will take for the proofreading process. My advisor doesn't check emails frequently, so I'm afraid I might miss it.
