Submitted at the end of November 2021, it took about three days for the paper to enter the review process. After about two months, it was returned for revisions. There were three reviewers, the first two had no major issues, but the third reviewer was excessively meticulous, and I was given a 20-day revision period. After the revisions, the second round of revisions took about ten days, and only the opinions of the third reviewer remained. There were fewer issues compared to the first round, and I was given only 15 days to revise. After resubmitting, it took about ten more days for them to ask for further polishing. I thought it was almost over, but after submitting the final version, it took another one and a half months to find out that four additional reviewers were added. I was completely disheartened at that time, even though there were only two minor comments, I almost lost the motivation to make further changes. After making the revisions, it took another ten days for the paper to be accepted.

I felt unhappy with the citations they recommended to me, so I checked them and found that none of them are SCI papers. The review comments were also very casual, with just one sentence under each subheading stating that modifications or improvements are needed. Except for the introduction, there was not a single specific statement in the review comments. I will never submit to this journal again in the future.
