After adding enhancements, I resubmitted it on April 17th. It was accepted on April 24th, super efficient. I have been submitting this article for over a year, so this marks a perfect ending.

Being under first review for only 2 months is considered very lucky for a few people, as this journal usually takes a minimum of 3 months and typically 4 to 5 months for regular operations. Second review completed within 2 months can be considered fast, but usually takes around 3 months or longer. A change in status to "Underreview" for more than 10+ months is normal for this journal. For those who are in urgent need of their article to be accepted, this journal is not recommended.

Whether to transform into OA requires careful consideration, which can be discussed from two aspects.
On one hand, if it becomes a tool for ELSEVIER to make money and the publication volume increases significantly, it should definitely not be invested in, as it will undoubtedly result in low-quality journals.
On the other hand, if it maintains the current review standards and publication volume, it can still maintain the status of a medium-level journal in the field of environmental studies (sorry to say this, but the requirements for innovation are not high, it is not considered a selective journal).
The OA movement is mainly initiated by PLAN S in Europe, which has good intentions and there are also many good OA journals, so it cannot be generalized.
