The first article was published in 2020 (lasting about 9 months). Sharing the experience of the second article, the research topic was in the field of agricultural remote sensing. It was submitted on November 19, 2022, and placed under review the next day. It was returned on January 23, 2023, and the editor gave three months for major revisions. There were many comments, but all were very professional and could significantly improve the quality of the article. After completing the revisions on February 28, 2023, all the suggestions were addressed (it was quite exhausting), and many analyses were added. In early April 2023, the acceptance notice was received, and the reviewers found the modifications to be appropriate (as expected). The impact factor of the journal has been rapidly rising in recent years, clearly benefiting from the hot field of smart agriculture. Additionally, the paper processing workflow is noticeably more efficient than before. However, currently, nearly half of the papers are from Chinese authors, and it is uncertain whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
