The speed of review for this journal is really slow. Friends, be cautious when submitting.

Submitted on March 18th.
Under review on March 19th.
Decision in process on July 16th.
Rejected on July 19th, with a suggestion to submit elsewhere.

The most frustrating part is that they reminded me after over a month, saying they were waiting for one more opinion. Then I waited for another two months and had to email them for communication. The review comments still didn't come back completely (supposedly there were four reviewers in total). Now, almost four months later, the rejection email only includes opinions from three reviewers. Since they are all negative opinions, why waste others' time? Is this how your impact factor of 9.something comes about???

So, I suggest everyone be cautious when submitting!!!

Submitted for almost two months and still under review. I followed up once after one month and was informed that there weren't enough reviewers. It's still under review until now. I really can't believe how slow the review process is and how low the work efficiency is. I wonder how it managed to obtain an impact factor of 9.

In March, I received a paper which was rejected. I immediately received a message on the same day with the rejection. I decided to resubmit the paper and was given four journals to choose from: COMPOSITES COMMUNICATIONS, Journal of Materials Research and Technology-JMR&T, Materials Today Communications, and Polymer Testing. They also offered a 100% resubmission discount for revision. I am considering resubmitting, but I am unsure if my chances of acceptance will be higher.
