May I ask how many days did it take for your first round of review?

雪梅01 2021-09-10

Those involved in the cement industry who want to publish articles on it face considerable difficulty. The editor-in-chief has high requirements and is also very diligent.

DDWB 2021-09-09

Generally speaking, magazines give reviewers about 2 weeks to review, but the time from submission to receiving the results depends on the reviewers. Many times, even after 2 weeks, there may not be enough review comments returned, so the editor can only continue to wait or invite new reviewers.

啦啦啦BPS 2021-09-08

It has been 22 days since the submission, and the status has not changed. I feel like mine is a bit slow.

青青~~ 2021-09-03

Return to review comments 28 days after submission.

颖-自信 勤奋 别怕事 2021-08-30

Congratulations, may I ask how long it took for the review comments to come back after you submitted your article for review?

jing91 2021-08-30

From submission to acceptance, it took a total of over two months, with three reviewers who provided very fair comments. After revisions, the quality of the paper greatly improved.

Academic Citizen 2021-08-22

The template rejection letter is very normal. Once you have been rejected many times, you will understand. The editor-in-chief does not have so much time to waste on low-quality manuscripts. P: Your mentor's words are filled with hostility. It doesn't seem like the attitude a scholar who has been doing research for decades should have...

ljq2020 2021-08-17

Does the submission have to be in two columns? My single-column format has already exceeded 20 pages.

伯乌77 2021-08-16

Brother, there's no need to be like this. If you get rejected, just submit to other journals. Is it right to belittle this journal then? So, does it mean that it is only a good journal if they accept your article?

木木999 2021-08-16

6.30 submission
Under review after three days
7.31 major revision, two reviewers, no negative comments overall, twenty suggestions, many grammar issues, no need to redo experiments, one-month deadline.
8.15 submission after revisions
Accepted on the same day
The process was fast, with previous submissions being rejected one after another, but ultimately, there was a good outcome! Wishing everyone smooth sailing!

The same reasons, the reviewers did not provide any opinions, directly rejected it, first raising and then suppressing, strange reasons. The appeal received no response.

yan1995 2021-08-10

2021.08.04 submission
2021.08.09 rejected by the editor-in-chief, with Uday Vaidya as the editor.
The editor's comment was, "This is a good technical paper, but the paper would better suit a Composites Manufacturing journal such as Composites A. Hence this decision." This rejection reason is hard to accept. On one hand, they say it's good, but on the other hand, they say it's more suitable for a manufacturing journal. Does it mean that Composites B does not accept articles on composite manufacturing?
An appeal letter was sent to the editor on the same day, but there has been no response yet.

Waited for a month before submitting for review... Hopefully, everything goes smoothly from here on.

Posted on July 17th, rejected on the 19th (indeed, very fast). Actually, it's completely acceptable to be rejected, but the rejection letter from Hao Wang left a very negative impression of this journal. The entire letter was a template-style rejection, stating that the journal "only accepts high-quality articles," without providing any specific reasons. My advisor directly said that this is very uncommon, and that this editor is a "totally idiot." Indeed, it is disrespectful to spend several hours formatting according to your journal's requirements, only to be rejected like this. Some low-quality articles are published on this journal, which are not as good as our own, and receiving a rejection letter like this truly makes me dislike this journal. This is just my personal experience.

2021.03.26 Submission
2021.04.12 Major revision, four reviewers, 30 comments. OMG... Deadline 45 days, requested extension of 30 days
2021.07.12 Revised manuscript
2021.07.18 Second round of revisions, minor edits
2021.07.20 Resubmission
2021.07.24 Accepted

The handling speed of the editor and reviewers was fast, and their comments were very fair.
After making revisions based on the reviewers' comments, the article feels completely transformed.

Hello, may I ask if they strictly enforce double line spacing for submissions to their journal within 20 pages?

Jie_judy 2021-07-12

Editorial rejection, perhaps the research direction or level of the article indeed does not match well with the journal, tragic...

Jie_judy 2021-07-05

2021/07/04 submitted to journal, hoping for a speedy review.

The feedback given is still very fair, I hope to continue working hard.

2021.04.01 Submission
Reviewed in 3 days
2021.05.16 Major revision with two reviewers, no negative comments, one-month deadline
2021.06.13 Sent an email to the editor requesting a one-week extension
2021.06.22 Replied to the editor and submitted the revised manuscript
2021.06.30 Agreed for direct acceptance

This is my first submission to this journal, and I feel that the editor's response was very prompt. The reviewers' comments were also very professional, and the quality of the revised article has improved significantly. When responding to the reviewers' comments, I replied to each point carefully. Additionally, in the initial feedback, one of the reviewers mentioned that the content of the article is innovative, which I believe is a key factor for the editor's decision to accept or not.

Good luck to everyone! :)

雪大爷 2021-07-01

Gave some editing suggestions. After the modifications, I was hired in just a few days. I replied to each suggestion quite carefully, and the supervisor also made careful changes. I feel that the reviewer's comments were not particularly sharp.

Wishing your paper to be accepted soon. How can I view the assigned editor?

一贱封神 2021-06-12

5.29 waited for over 20 days to be assigned an editor, which is considered fast. Just wait patiently.
5.30 under review
Good luck!

Approximately 35 days later, it will be sent for review.
Major revisions on 2021.04.12, with three reviewers. No negative opinions overall, with a one-month deadline.
Returned on 2021.05.08, consistently in "with editor" status.
Under review on 2021.05.30.
Accepted on 2021.06.09, with only one reviewer's opinion, agreeing to accept it directly.
This is my first submission to this journal, and both the editor and reviewers were very professional. The quality of the paper significantly improved after making revisions according to the reviewers' comments. I would like to express my gratitude to them once again. It is normal for this journal to take around 30 days for the review process, so please be patient and avoid rushing.
