It is not easy to submit within the circle. As a member of the editorial board, the acceptance rate for CCL is only 30%. The circle can only guarantee a high rate of submission. But as for who it will be handed to, it is unknown. As long as there is one negative opinion, the manuscript will be rejected.

Now CCL does not lack sources for articles and emphasizes on maintaining high quality. Even when I review the articles myself, the acceptance rate is not high, approximately 5%. However, I do not look at the circle and do not care about the identity of the authors.

CCL has a large volume after all, and even if there is a circle, it is also very large and influential. With over 700 articles published each year, it will soon surpass 1000 articles, and yet the impact factor remains high. It is expected to exceed 10 next year, which is quite impressive.

This journal is easier to submit within the research group. The journal has a large editorial board and a young editorial board. Previously, my boss was a member of the editorial board. When he asked me to review manuscripts for other journals, he required me to recommend citing 2-3 articles from CCL in the review comments.
