I wrote a review article on nanomaterials, and the journal's speed is very fast. It took only a month and a half from submission to acceptance, during which I also made revisions for over ten days. The first reviewer gave a very high evaluation and suggested accepting the original manuscript. The second reviewer provided several suggestions, some of which were difficult to address as there were no relevant studies available.
I am extremely grateful to editor Dr. Yoon for being so kind and efficient in handling the manuscript. It was resubmitted on the first day and accepted on the second day. Chemosphere is truly an excellent and efficient journal, worth submitting to.

Now, let me talk about my experience with the second submission. It was handled by Dr. Jun Huang, and it took a whole week for them to process it. However, they directly rejected it, citing that the number of illustrations in the research paper exceeded the journal's limit of seven. It's really ironic because I checked the articles published in 2021, and every one of them had more than seven illustrations in the main text. Their dismissal was quite perfunctory.

I was rejected due to a high plagiarism rate on my submission. After making revisions, I submitted it again and received feedback from a minor edit. The workload was acknowledged and eventually I was approved. The process from the minor edit to acceptance was quite fast, about a little over a month.
