2021-04-13 Submission
2021-05-03 Three reviewers, one major revision, two minor revisions, one month time, required additional experiments, delayed for half a month due to personal matters and attending meetings, had to urgently make up for the experiments, but the results were quite good, significantly improving the depth of the article.

Editor Professor King Lun Yeung is very efficient, from submission to acceptance exactly two months, thank you!

I'm here again, and later it was sent for review. The review ended on 6.10.
On 6.17, the feedback was received. This time, it was only sent to two reviewers. One of them still had two questions, while the other agreed to accept it. The editor made minor revisions and asked to clearly state the conditions regardless of whether or not they agreed with those two questions. I feel like it probably won't be sent for review again, as the editor may have decided on their own.
It was resubmitted on 6.20, and the status has remained unchanged. After a few minutes, the editor sent an email saying they received it.

The review period should be given 21 days, and the review process is quite fast.

fhiowsahfioh 2021-06-20

Excuse me, which editor is it? My editor directly said that my work does not fit the SCOPE of his magazine and rejected it, asking me to submit it to his new publication instead. But I am specifically working on electrochemistry...

January 18th: Submitted
March 24th: Received first review (during which, with editor for a month, after reminder, sent for review)
April 24th: Submitted revised manuscript, editor took two weeks before sending for review
May 21st: Confirmed completion of review through customer service inquiry
June 8th: Major revisions after second review
June 11th: Submitted revised manuscript
June 14th: Accepted (this time the process was very fast, quite unexpected)
The editor responsible for CFD direction, Nuno Miguel Reis, always takes two to three weeks to process the manuscript, regardless of when it reaches his hands. Both review periods lasted 21 days, spanning a total of 5 months, with most of the remaining time spent with this editor.

It has been 20 days since submission, and it is still "with editor". Does anyone else have this situation?

pc-co 2021-05-30

Why is there only one reviewer, and their comments are not so sharp? The editor rejected it.

3.19 Submission
3.23 Under review
4.25 Received feedback, 4 major revisions, 1 rejection, stating that photocatalysis does not fit this journal. Editor gave major revision and one month to make changes.
5.23 Added 5-6 experiments, had a break for Labor Day, answered all relevant questions, explained that some questions were nonsensical.
5.26 Editor returned the manuscript, not allowing line numbers because the generated PDF already has line numbers. Made changes and resubmitted on the same day.
Now waiting for the second review.

2021-05-24

Changed 5.16 for a major overhaul. Waited for half a month. Your possible edits may be undecided and sent for review again.

Hello, your manuscript has been revised three times. Do you have any comments on the revisions?

歪歪 2021-05-20

Posted on March 26th and it has been almost two months since the submission. It is still under review. Today, I suddenly received an email from the editor, stating that my article has been in the submission process for 60 days and has not been completed. I have no idea what happened. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

歪歪 2021-05-19

Can I ask if the status of the original post has changed? My reviews were completed a few days ago, but immediately went back under review.

I won an article some time ago, and it took one month for Witheditor to review it.

This tumultuous article finally found a good home. Just waiting for another article to graduate~~ It was really not easy. Wishing the journal better and better~~~~

The original poster's edit.

白雪雪 2021-05-17

Excuse me, has the original poster (OP) given any feedback yet? My manuscript has been under review for 40 days.

啾啾~ 2021-05-16

with editors for more than 20 days, the reminder was rejected instantly. The editor stated that the article would be more suitable for submission to a journal focused on catalysis. I don't know what else to say, after all, there have been quite a few publications in this direction in that journal.

I don't know what it means. Can it be withdrawn? I cannot accept it before graduation. It has not been reviewed yet.

The journal website has the following statement: Aries has detected slowness issues in EM/PM and users may experience some processing delays. Please know that work queues in the order received on the servers and while it may take some time to render, your work will not be lost. We will share additional status updates as soon as possible. I wonder if this is related to recent slow processing speed?

I am Todd as well, and I have been requiring completed reviews for about 10 days.
