The assigned Japanese editor's processing speed is quite fast, and reviewer 1 is also quick, providing comments within 2 weeks. However, it is likely that reviewer 2 did not provide feedback, causing a delay in the progress. As a result, there was an update in the middle stage and reviewer 3 was sought. In the end, I received major revisions based on the comments from reviewer 1 and 3.

After completing the experiments within two weeks and revising the manuscript, it was sent back for review again for two to three weeks. Yesterday, I was notified that another minor revision is required because one of the reviewers insisted on citing four references (two of which are from the same Indian author, suspecting that the reviewer might be this person).
