This journal is very editor-dependent. There are some editors who are extremely slow, my junior colleague got assigned to an LJ editor and submitted in June last year, it is still under review after 11 months, with the last update on March 30th. My junior sister got assigned to a super fast editor, she submitted on April 13th, had major revisions by April 30th, returned on May 13th, and accepted on May 18th. As for my own paper, I submitted on March 2nd, it has been under review since March 20th, almost 3 months now.
