Just remembered, today is Saturday, so we have to wait until next week to publish.

nkshy 2021-07-17

After the second modification, it will be received on July 12th and payment will be made on July 16th. It still cannot be found online, so continue to wait.

lgx 2021-07-15

How can I make payment for this journal? Thank you!

H_Cl 2021-07-13

Hello, I also plan to submit materials to this journal. How about you? Is it good? How is the speed? Is the review fee expensive?

nkshy 2021-07-11

On July 1st, the second review comments were received, mainly concerning language issues.
On July 8th, the modifications were submitted, and currently, it is still with the editor. Let's wait for the next steps to continue the revisions.

lp123123 2021-06-27

Do you need a layout fee?

nkshy 2021-06-27

My second review has been 16 days already, and there is still no progress. Do you know how long this review usually takes?

nkshy 2021-06-27

Do you have any further updates on your submission?

nkshy 2021-06-27

Today is the 27th, and the status is still under review. I feel very uneasy.

nkshy 2021-06-24

2021.5.1 Post
5.21 Received revision comments (20 days for major revisions)
6.9 Submission of revisions
6.11 Entered second review

The editor is Vadim A. Markel (I am very grateful for the editor's pointed out deficiencies and valuable suggestions, as well as the opportunity for revision).

I estimate that it may take around 25-26 days to receive the second review comments. However, it is unclear how long the second review usually takes. I check the system for updates anxiously and worryingly every morning and evening.

I'm sorry... I hope after that, you will be quickly accepted, senior.

moxiaomi 2021-06-18

I am a girl.

一之濑夜 2021-06-17

Congratulations to my big brother for receiving a response. Generally, with careful editing, there should be no problem with the major revisions. I hope the article can be accepted as soon as possible!

6.16 Resubmit revised draft with editor
6.17 Accepted

llllllllllllllllllll 2021-06-17

First submission, submitted on April 1st. Under review for about a week. Updated information after about a month, which took longer than expected. I resisted the urge to push for a response. On May 26th, received the first round of revisions after the initial review by two reviewers. The first reviewer provided two questions. The first question was a small suggestion (reasonable, but not necessary to make changes to the whole article). I explained it using a formula and performed simulations accordingly. The second question pointed out an error in a formula, which was accidentally omitted. The second reviewer gave clear recognition and recommendation for the article. They also provided many suggestions, pinpointing the exact mistakes and proposing ways to make the article more rigorous. Some of the questions were challenging to answer, and it took a lot of time to reply. Finally, the editor requested minor revisions. Sent it back on the 11th, and it went under review the next day. As of now, there is still no result. Hoping the second review won't take too long. Good luck to everyone.

moxiaomi 2021-06-17

The final score was marked wrong, it should be 9 points!

moxiaomi 2021-06-16

This is already the second article of results in physics. Good luck to everyone!

moxiaomi 2021-06-16

On May 11th, under review. The first round of review results will be released on June 15th. There was one reviewer who provided detailed comments and suggestions, marked directly in the article. It is evident that the reviewer carefully read every word and sentence. Thank you to the reviewer. This is already the first paper published in Results in Physics. Good luck to everyone!

Thank you everyone for your contributions, experiences, and suggestions. In addition, I had a conversation with a senior colleague who has a PhD, and it seems that the main reason for the varying speed of initial processing in this journal is the shortage of editors and the uneven distribution of submissions in different fields, which results in different processing speeds for editors. For example, it seems that optics generally takes a bit longer than nonlinear. Additionally, based on previous experiences shared by others, it seems that sometimes editors make decisions even with only one reviewer's response when being reminded about the submission. In conclusion, I hope that everyone's papers will be accepted smoothly! Currently, RIP is ranked 2nd in Zone 3 of the upgraded version of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and it is expected to have a slight increase in impact factor this year. We hope to continue improving and enter Zone 2.

This student is really lucky. I submitted on 3.23, and it went under review on 3.26. The latest update was on 5.18, and until now, on 6.13, there are still no results. It's been two and a half months, almost three months. The manager of the department responsible for urging the manuscript said that one reviewer has already provided their feedback, but now we need to wait for the opinion of another reviewer... How unfortunate.

moxiaomi 2021-06-13

It has been under review for a month. If there is no news in another week, I plan to urge for the manuscript.

moxiaomi 2021-06-13

Good job, congratulations!

一之濑夜 2021-06-12

6.12 minor revision Unexpectedly, the results will be available on the weekend. I hope everything goes smoothly in the future as well.

moxiaomi 2021-06-03

Sure, pure simulation is not a problem, don't worry.

一之濑夜 2021-06-03

Thank you for sharing your experience. Today, I had a discussion with those who have also invested in it, and they said the progress is generally quite fast. I hope everyone can be successfully accepted.

moxiaomi 2021-06-03

My submission was made on May 6th, and it is currently under review since the 11th. I have previously submitted one article, and this is the second one. Based on my previous experience, I should receive a response within one and a half months.

一之濑夜 2021-06-03

5.17 Submission
5.19 Rejected, citing formatting issues. Made the necessary changes in one day and resubmitted.
5.20 Under review by the editor.
6.1 Still under review.
I did pure simulation work and I'm a bit nervous because I heard that someone got rejected previously for not having any experiments.
I will provide updates if there are any changes in the status.

3.16 Submitted to journal
3.19 With editor
4.03 Under review
4.25 Minor revision and modification
5.10 With editor
5.11 Under review
5.13 Minor revision and modification
5.23 With editor
5.24 Under review
5.29 Accept

The reviewer was very professional and raised many key questions that greatly helped improve the article. The first round of revisions and modifications were not sufficient, so the reviewer and editor provided another opportunity for modification. I hope Results in Physics will continue to improve and eventually be upgraded to a second-tier journal in the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

It took 9 weeks in total, including a major revision after the initial submission. The specific timeline is as follows:

2021.3.23: Submitted to the journal
2021.4.23: Major revision (20 days for revision)
2021.5.14: Resubmission (due to personal matters, submitted on the last day)
2021.5.29: Accepted for publication

Overall, the journal and the editors were quite efficient in handling the process. Both reviewers were professional, and after making the requested changes, the readability of the paper improved significantly.

Ah, it's a matter of luck. Which journal is that brother currently submitting to?
