Received an email on December 7th to share my submission process with everyone. It was my first time writing for a scientific journal and I had no experience. My research topic was niche, so during the submission process, I was rejected by about 5 or 6 journals, either because they had received too many manuscripts or because the topic did not align with their focus. By chance, I submitted to BMC and added some background information according to the journal's format (at that time, I was in a state of being rejected and just wrote randomly). I had no hope at all. Submitted on September 27th, surprisingly, I received major revisions within 2 to 3 weeks. One of the reviewers responded very slowly, but based on the questions raised, they had actually looked up relevant literature and provided many practical questions. So I started making serious revisions and conducting experiments. After resubmission, it took about 2 weeks for the reviewer's comments to only include suggestions for improving the language of the article. After AJE proofreading, it was accepted in about 4 days. I have to say that the editor responsible for my work was really efficient, as the revised version was usually sent to the reviewer on the same day. Overall, I feel that this journal is very inclusive, as long as the research is truly innovative and meaningful, they will give opportunities. Finally, I wish everyone a smooth submission process and early acceptance.

Share the joy! Submitted in mid-July 2022, accepted in mid-March 2023, finally graduated! (Our school requires a SCI for professional master's degree graduation......)

July 2022: Submitted
October 2022: Received comments from two reviewers, one accepted, and the other raised two questions. Revised in the same month.
February 2023: Another reviewer provided new comments. Revised in the same month.
March 2023: Accepted

The editor's speed was quite fast. During this period, I reminded them twice about the manuscript, and the journal replied within one or two days, although the responses were all polite but generic. The long submission period was mainly due to the time it took to find reviewers, but the reviewers' comments were very helpful and significantly improved the article.
