Aims and Scope
The effects of stress on crop production of agricultural cultivated plants will grow to paramount importance in the 21st century, and the Journal of Agronomy and Crop Science aims to assist in understanding these challenges. In this context, stress refers to extreme conditions under which crops and forages grow. The journal publishes original papers and reviews on the general and special science of abiotic plant stress. Specific topics include: drought, including water-use efficiency, such as salinity, alkaline and acidic stress, extreme temperatures since heat, cold and chilling stress limit the cultivation of crops, flooding and oxidative stress, and means of restricting them. Special attention is on research which have the topic of narrowing the yield gap. The Journal will give preference to field research and studies on plant stress highlighting these subsections. Particular regard is given to application-oriented basic research and applied research. The application of the scientific principles of agricultural crop experimentation is an essential prerequisite for the publication. Studies based on field experiments must show that they have been repeated (at least three times) on the same organism or have been conducted on several different varieties.

Before the reviewer's comments came out, the status of the manuscript always showed "searching for reviewers." When it had been three months since the submission, I sent an email to the editor inquiring about the status. The editor said there was one reviewer's comment, but they couldn't find the second reviewer. They asked me to send a reminder email in two weeks. When I asked again after two weeks, the editor sent me the comments from the first reviewer and also provided some suggestions for improvement. They asked me to make the revisions and provide possible reviewers for the next round. After I revised the manuscript, I thought the editor would start looking for reviewers again, but they quickly returned with minor revisions. In fact, they just asked me to remove the highlighting from the previous major revision and create a final version. I realized that it meant the manuscript was likely to be accepted, but I also doubted if it was just to find the next reviewer. After a few days, I received an email saying that the manuscript was accepted. I noticed that the first reviewer actually reviewed my article around one week after my submission. It was probably difficult to find the second reviewer in the early stages, which caused the delay, but it was very fast afterwards. Overall, the editor was very good, both in handling the manuscript and replying to emails.

A total of 3 reminders were sent. The low publication volume is not without reason. The editor is very prompt, sending reminders in the morning and seeing dynamic changes the next day or in the afternoon. It is not recommended to rush the graduation submission. Reserve one year of time.
